the care and learn facilitator supports students beyond the classroom by creating a safe, engaging, and structured environment during extended day or care programmes.
key responsibilities
* supervise students during after-school and extended care programmes
* plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities (academic, creative, recreational)
* ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all students at all times
* support students with homework and reinforce learning concepts
* promote positive behaviour and respectful interactions
* manage daily routines, transitions, and attendance tracking
* communicate effectively with teachers and school staff
* provide feedback on student participation and behaviour
* maintain an organised, clean, and safe environment
* support school events and extracurricular initiatives when required
ideal candidate
* previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
* strong interpersonal and communication skills
* patient, responsible, and nurturing approach
* ability to manage groups of children effectively
* proactive and organised with attention to detail
* ability to work collaboratively within a team
* flexible and adaptable to changing schedules
* advanced english proficiency (required)
