Basic function
under the supervision of the maintenance shift leader, is responsible for executing, following up and complying with the plant maintenance plan. The position is responsible for coordinating a group of people in order to meet the corrective and preventive maintenance program.
specific responsibilities
1. assign daily activities to his team and supporting team members in daily work related events and problems.
2. provides coaching to team leader- leads kos implementation- support new maintenance practices- supervise and personally performs repair and maintenance work on equipment and machinery installed in the plant.
3. determine the need for equipment and machinery repairs and maintenance by inspection and by review of work orders.
4. make and maintain all maintenance activities records and periodic reports and/ or data.
5. work with the maintenance planner to determine priorities and an optimum time to perform the corrective and preventive maintenance.
6. analyze and develop new working techniques to improve maintenance measures with focus in preventive actions.
7. assure that all safety and security procedures are followed by the personnel under his responsibility.
8. ensure all tool and equipment supply for his work area. Keeps track of all assigned work orders.
9. prepare reports, work on special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor plant engineering & maintenance.
experience
preference at least one and two years' experience in general maintenance.
formation
knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in the various building, equipment and machinery maintenance specialties, including electrical, control, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanic. Familiarity with tpm process.
