* develop and maintain strong partnerships at various levels, focusing on stickiness with our technology
* understand the linux and cloud software ecosystem, as well as open-source selling models
* negotiate contracts and commercial business terms
* gain insight into partner organizations and sales models, particularly with gsi
* work closely with marketing, sales engineering, and product management to deliver on targets, objectives, and provide a voice for the partner
* lead executive interlocks between partners and leadership team
* frequent travel may be required, sometimes internationally
