Client: our client is a huge us-based asset manager.
Project overview: the project's aim is to create a data governance platform to operate with all the investment and product data within the asset manager.
Position overview: we expect that business analyst to become the valuable player in the team to work closely with the client's representatives on the business functionality brainstorming and documentation.
- responsibilities: organize effective collaboration with business owners and the project team
- analyze existing business processes and determine business and operational objectives
- analyze, document, and manage requirements through the full project lifecycle
- analyze data sources for the data mastering glossary creation
- write user stories and user acceptance specifications
- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst
- financial services industry experience, knowledge of terms, key standards, and an understanding of investment domain
- understanding of business processes
- experience in querying and analyzing data in relational databases (ms sql, oracle, etc.)
- ability to translate business needs into software and operational requirements, document and analyze requirements and propose possible solutions
- thorough understanding of the software development life cycle
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in english
- experience in facilitating effective interaction between the project team and the customer
- participation in planning, resolving disputes, and risk evaluation
- verifying implemented products in accordance with the requirements
