Job title: manufacturing operations manager
role overview:
we are seeking an experienced manufacturing operations manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing process, ensuring timely and efficient production while maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
key responsibilities:
* schedule production runs or shifts to ensure seamless operations
* lead and motivate team members to achieve daily production goals while maintaining quality standards
* assist in developing and implementing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness throughout the production process
* review quality control reports for accuracy and address any issues with the relevant teams
* monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for production processes
* oversee the entire production process, from start to finish, including hiring and supervising staff members and planning schedules
* ensure adherence to safety protocols and take corrective action when necessary
* provide training and support to operational staff
* meet production goals
requirements and qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in industrial processes, industrial engineering, or related field
* fluency in english
* availability to work varying shifts
* 24 years old or above
* 2+ years of experience in a production leadership role, including preparing work schedules, submitting performance and progress reports, compiling production records, communicating with other manufacturing departments, leading and developing the production team, checking production output against specifications, enforcing company policies and guidelines, ensuring equipment functionality, and maintaining a safe working environment
* previous experience in a similar position or industry (desired)
* proven track record of increasing productivity and efficiency while reducing costs
* working knowledge of quality control standards (iso 9001, iatf 16949, etc.)
* analytical skills to monitor production output and check for compliance with specifications
* strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles
* excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
