portcities is seeking a driven and hands‑on delivery manager - consulting to lead our mexico consulting team. This role is pivotal to ensuring high-quality project delivery in line with our methodology, maximizing consulting income, and maintaining a professional and performance-driven environment.
drive consulting income
* monitor and improve the team's invoiceability.
* be involved and accountable for consulting income: ensure the team is invoiceable and find projects if this is not the case.
* fight and defend the invoiceability of your team.
* support the sales team in closing deals by providing delivery insights and building confidence in our execution.
* identify and negotiate change requests to minimize credit notes and maximize revenue.
* forecast consulting income accurately and track deviation from the plan.
* take timely corrective action if a deviation occurs.
* ensure proper resource booking and project allocation to optimize team utilization.
* ensure strict control of project scope and deliverables.
customer satisfaction
* guide the team to better manage client relationships through clear communication, transparency about risks, and delivery of high‑roi solutions.
* create a sense of urgency and responsibility within the team to foster proactivity and responsiveness.
* personally handle escalation when team leaders or consultants are unable to resolve issues independently.
* be actively involved in critical negotiations (protect customer relationships and portcities).
professionalism & culture
ensure compliance with internal policies (e.g., timesheets, wfo/wfh, work schedules).
* promote a culture of accountability, discipline, and alignment with portcities' operational standards.
* lead by example in the office, close to your team members, to cultivate a professional and productive work environment.
* enforce standards in work ethics, attire, communication, and proper use of company resources.
office & meeting leaders
* organize & co‑lead mexico's internal management meetings, ensuring follow-through on action plans and alignment with broader company goals.
* foster a culture of initiative and collaboration.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in information system/computer science/business/accounting/management.
* a master's degree in business management is an advantage.
* minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in erp implementation.
* good communication, presentation, and writing skills in english.
* strong knowledge of odoo erp system, including configuration and customization.
* proven experience as an odoo consultant or similar role.
* odoo certification(s) or equivalent industry certifications.
* knowledge of other erp systems and business applications.
* language skills: native/fluent in spanish is required, while proficiency in english is preferred.
* work authorization requirement: candidates must have valid work authorization in mexico to be considered for this position.
