BYD is seeking a highly motivated and experienced B2B Solar Sales Manager to lead business-to-business (B2B) sales efforts in the solar PV industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy, proven experience in developing large-scale solar projects, and the ability to build long-term client partnerships that drive sustainable growth.Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies for medium to large-scale solar PV projects.- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships.- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and negotiation to project handover.- Provide technical and commercial guidance to clients, ensuring solutions align with their needs and BYD’s capabilities.- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities.- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, legal, finance, and project management) to deliver competitive proposals and ensure successful project execution.- Track and report on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Marketing, or related fields.- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the solar PV industry- Proven experience in developing and maintaining medium to large-scale solar projects (preferred).- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.- Advanced English proficiency- Solid understanding of solar PV technologies, market trends, and industry standards.“At BYD Mexico, we promote equal employment opportunities and respect for diversity.
