responsibilities
* manage purchasing activities for raw materials and production components.
* negotiate prices, payment terms, and supply conditions with vendors.
* build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost optimization.
* analyze and optimize purchasing costs while ensuring material availability and adequate stock levels.
* resolve issues related to accounts payable, delivery discrepancies (rdl), and material rejections.
* monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree completed.
* advanced english level (oral and written).
* minimum 2 years of experience as a buyer or in a similar role within the metal‑mechanical sector is a plus.
* experience managing cost optimization and supplier performance.
* specialized experience in raw materials purchasing (metals/steel) and supplier negotiation.
* software: advanced proficiency in erp systems (sap mm module is a plus) and microsoft excel for data analysis.
