Overview
a material planner is in charge to get all the raw material in time to avoid stopping the production lines using all supply chain tools and options in order to achieve mp&l objectives and kpi’s.
responsibilities
* send supplier releases.
* monitor supplier shipments.
* avoid production line shutdowns.
* assure raw material in plant to meet the production schedule.
* avoid excess inventory or obsolete components.
* expedite raw material if needed.
* make claims for material damaged or lost in transit.
* generate dmn if supplier is not meeting requirements and is causing production line shutdown.
* ensure material is received correctly in the system.
* follow authority assigned according to ftm-ehs-12 roles, responsibility and authority matrix from iso 14001/45001.
* comply with policies and procedures pertaining to facility or divisional adopted standards such as iatf 16949.
qualifications
* obtained bachelor’s degree.
* fluent english (level c1).
* experience in automotive companies.
* desired system: sap.
* supply chain knowledge.
