responsibilities
inventory & material planning:monitor inventory levels, maintain material master accuracy, and set stock strategies (e.g., min/max, push vs. Pull) to optimize availability.
Data analysis & reporting:analyze material data to identify cost-saving opportunities and forecast future requirements.
Supply chain coordination:collaborate with procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve shortages.
Process improvement:lead initiatives to improve material flow, reduce inventory, and resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
Financial control:monitor cost variances, assist in budgeting, and support financial decision-making, often reporting to management.
Qualifications
education:bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or engineering preferred.
Experience:several years of experience in materials planning, procurement, or manufacturing logistics.
Technical skills:proficiency in erp systems (e.g., sap) and advanced ms excel.
