Key responsibilities
* lead all hr activities during the plant startup phase, including recruitment, training, compensation, and organizational design.
* develop and implement hr strategies, policies, and safety programs aligned with company goals and legal requirements.
* manage labor relations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with employees and unions (if applicable).
* establish talent acquisition, development, and retention programs to support long-term growth.
* oversee compliance with local labor laws, health and safety regulations, and corporate standards.
* partner with global hr and leadership teams to align practices with corporate culture and values.
* act as a key advisor to management on hr strategy, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
qualifications
* 10+ years of progressive experience in human resources, including at least 5 years in the manufacturing industry.
* advanced english
* master's degree in hr management or industrial/labor relations (preferred).
* proven experience in plant startups for foreign or asian companies.
* strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* excellent verbal and written communication in english and spanish.
* proficient in ms office and hr management systems (hris).
