About the role
this salesforce data cloud business analyst / data engineer (lead/architect) role goes beyond traditional analysis, combining strategic business impact with hands‑on work on a greenfield data platform. You will shape how marketing and product teams leverage salesforce data cloud by turning complex needs into scalable, data-driven solutions with real influence on decision‑making. The role offers exposure to end‑to‑end data flows, close stakeholder collaboration, and the opportunity to help define best practices from day one while growing at the intersection of analytics and data engineering.
What you will do
partner closely with marketing stakeholders and product managers to gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements;
translate business requirements into scalable salesforce data cloud use cases and solutions;
design, implement, and optimize data flows and integrations within salesforce data cloud;
validate data pipelines using sql and snowflake to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability;
support analytics and reporting initiatives by delivering high‑quality, well‑structured data;
collaborate with data teams, salesforce admins, and business stakeholders to bridge technical and business requirements;
contribute to a greenfield implementation of salesforce data cloud.
Must haves
6+ years of experience in roles combining business analysis and data engineering
hands‑on experience with salesforce data cloud
strong understanding of sql (basic to intermediate level)
strong experience with snowflake
technical background in it, data, or engineering roles
ability to work closely with business stakeholders, especially marketing teams, to define and prioritize requirements
strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
profile combining business acumen and data/engineering expertise
nice to haves
experience or familiarity with customer 360, analytics enablement, or master data management (mdm) concepts
experience working in marketing data or customer data platforms (cdps)
