A position is open on the materials finance team for a driven professional to handle reporting and variance analysis while also supporting budgeting and forecasting development activities. The successful candidate will use numerous analytical tools including excel tableau sap combined with an ability to summarize and explain the results in order to drive informed decision making within the finance leadership teamt. The individual should be comfortable quickly analyzing large sets of data and concisely summarizing key insights while also having the ability to drill down into the details. This position will work collaboratively with purchasing cost control team as well as other teams within the finance functions include but are not limited to: prepares financial analysis and budget support for assigned internal client groups analyzes expense forecasts monthly financial reports and individual department budgets presents analytics and recommendations to management to facilitate strategic financial decision making. Lead and manage projects to increase visibility and accessibility of data drive cost reduction generate easy to us dashboards and continuously increase the functionality of reporting tools oversee streamlining and process improvement activities to increase efficiency support budgeting and forecasting activitiesminimum qualifications: bachelors degree in finance economics or accounting from an accredited university. Advanced degree or professional certification preferred (mba ma ms cpa) 5 years of experience operating in a performance / results oriented fast-paced culture. Preferably automotive background and experience in analytical roles. Demonstrated functional knowledge including strong technical proficiency / capability firm understanding of financial concepts related to financial statements and basic accounting principles excellent oral and written communication skills solid financial acumen (analytical skills) and fastidious attention to detail.
