Requirements
education
- *licenciatura or maestría* in a relevant field, such as:
- english teaching / elt / tesol
- languages / foreign languages
- education or pedagogy with a focus on english teaching
teaching certification
- at least one *formal english-teaching qualification*, for example:
- cambridge certifications (tkt, celta, delta, c1/c2 with methodology)
- tefl / tesol
- teaching diploma or teacher training course (e.g. Unam, ipn, anglo mexicano)
language skills
- *advanced or proficient english level* (c1 or c2 recommended)
location & availability
- must currently *reside in mexico city or nearby areas*:
- must be *available for in-person teaching*:
- willing and able to travel to students’ locations within cdmx
- experience teaching:
- adults and/or professionals
- one-to-one or small groups
- experience in language schools, companies, or universities is valued.
Nice to have (not mandatory)
- experience with business english
- corporate or professional clients
- exam preparation (ielts, cambridge, toefl)
- availability for mornings and/or evenings
- long-term availability
