about the role
the competition manager plays a key role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and continuous development of our competitions. This position is critical to delivering high‑quality sporting events aligned with our regulations, operational standards, and long‑term strategic vision.
main responsibilities:
* plan, organize, and oversee the execution of sports competitions in alignment with established regulations and quality standards.
* manage relationships with participating clubs and act as a key point of contact throughout the competition cycle.
* coordinate and supervise match day operations, ensuring compliance with competition regulations and smooth cross‑functional collaboration.
* ensure regulatory compliance, including player eligibility and proper application of competition rules and disciplinary processes.
* oversee competition resources (human, material, and operational) in collaboration with the competition director.
* participate in operational decision‑making and contribute to strategic initiatives related to competition development.
* identify, manage, and resolve incidents proactively, proposing effective solutions to unforeseen challenges.
* plan and coordinate season calendars and related competition events.
* forecast and coordinate sports equipment and operational needs with relevant stakeholders and suppliers.

* strong knowledge of football competition structures and regulations.
* strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
* proactive mindset with flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments.
* strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
* excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* fluency in english.
* previous experience as a player, coach, or referee is a plus.
