*requirements / qualifications*
- bachelor's degree in accounting, administration or finance.
mba / nif certification is a plus.
- a minimum of 4+ years financial experiences within maquiladora industry environment.
- strong numerical, analytical and communication skills, carefulness on data checking and preparation.
- prior experience with sap and/or hfm/hyperion is a plus.
- fluent written and spoken english.
- microsoft software and other necessary office tools.
*principal accountabilities / responsibilities*
- responsible for supporting plant controller's financial leadership to the plant manager, staff, and organization to ensure achievement of business results, while also ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial books and records of the plant through the management of cost accounting, internal control/compliance, financial analysis, quoting, and risk management.
- ensure the implementation of all company policies and regulations including position relevant responsibilities in the safety responsibility system of the company within the team.
- costing & quoting: champion the drive for continuous improvements in productivity and cost reduction.
work with product engineering, purchasing, manufacturing engineering, and operations management, and sales and marketing to ensure a timely and accurate response to "requests for quotation" from customers.
work with sales and marketing on all commercial issues that need financial support.
- standard cost establishment and maintenance
- establish financial objectives for the operating unit and track progress for disclosure and follow-up to the facilities management team.
- internal/external audit: assist and coordinate the internal/external financial/tax or any other required independent audit related to the areas of cost accounting; prepare and collect the documentation regularly according to group policies as required by internal/external auditing.
- insure all corporate, division and plant policies and procedures are communicated and followed.
