about the group
we are a diversified international holding company with operating businesses across multiple geographies and industries. As the group enters its next phase of growth and capital structuring, we are seeking a high-caliber financial controller with the ambition and capability to evolve into a chief financial officer role.
the role
this is a senior finance leadership position with full responsibility for group-level financial control, reporting, and governance. You will work closely with the cfo and board, gaining exposure to strategic finance, m&a, funding, and long-term value creation.
key responsibilities
* lead group financial reporting, consolidation, and statutory compliance across multiple entities
* own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
* design and strengthen internal controls, policies, and governance frameworks
* partner with operating company finance leads and senior management
* support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning at group level
* participate in m&a, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration
* act as a key deputy to the cfo with increasing strategic responsibility
ideal profile
* 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience, including group consolidation
* strong background in ifrs (or usa gaap with ifrs exposure)
* experience in a holding company, pe-backed group, or multi-entity environment
* qualified accountant (aca, acca, cpa, or equivalent)
* leadership mindset with clear ambition to step into a cfo role within 2–4 years
