we are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the design and development of our manufacturing software applications. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple tasks, and drive the implementation of backend and frontend systems.
the ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in programming languages, database administration, api management, and web services. Experience with software versioning tools, reporting tools, and data visualization is also highly valued.
key responsibilities
* design and develop desktop and web-based applications using vb.net, c#, .net framework/core, and windows services.
* manage backend database systems including ms sql server and mysql for secure and efficient data handling.
* create and maintain restful apis and web services for system integration and data connectivity.
* administer iis web services on windows server to ensure system stability and availability.
* oversee software versioning and collaboration through git or github.
* drive the development of reporting tools and data visualization to support operational decisions.
* collaborate with internal departments to gather requirements, provide support, and ensure ticket resolution within sla timeframes.
requirements
* engineering degree, bachelor's in it, or related technical field (technical degree also considered with strong experience).
* minimum 3 years of experience in mes or software development in an industrial setting.
* strong technical skills in:
o backend & frontend programming.
o sql database administration.
o api & windows/web services.
o iis administration and deployment.
* conversational and technical english proficiency (b1/b2 level).
* ability to work with cross-functional teams, manage multiple tasks, and deliver under pressure.
* proactive, service-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
* familiarity with mobile development (e.g., swift, java android/kotlin) is a plus.
