As a systems engineer you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and testing of our avionics products. This role requires a strong understanding of systems engineering principles, technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

roles and responsibilities
* develop and define system requirements, architectures and specifications.
* perform system integration and testing to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, and hardware engineers, to develop and validate system requirements.
* conduct system-level troubleshooting and problem resolution.
* develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test plans.
* ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project planning activities.
* provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.
* manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
* coordinate with project managers to track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
* prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and management.
* facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members to achieve project goals.
required qualifications
* bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
* experience in systems engineering, systems integration, testing or hardware/software product development.
* proficiency in systems engineering tools and methodologies.
* familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., arp4754, do-178, do-254).
* excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
desired qualifications
* experience in project management activities.
* experience with system integration and testing.
* experience with model-based systems engineering (mbse) tools and techniques.
* knowledge of software development processes and programming languages (e.g., c, c++).
* experience with scripting languages (e.g., python, perl, bash).
* understanding of safety-critical systems and reliability engineering.
* experience with aviation data transfer/communication standards: arinc 664, ethernet.
* knowledge of avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems.
* certification in project management.
