responsibilities:
· provide l2/l3 support for applications using informatica, java, and kafka.
· troubleshoot and resolve etl jobs, kafka streaming issues, and java application errors.
· monitor and maintain kafka clusters, ensuring data streaming efficiency and stability.
· support informatica powercenter workflows, debugging failures and optimizing performance.
· work on incident management, change requests, and root cause analysis.
· collaborate with development, devops, and infrastructure teams for seamless operations.
· ensure high availability, scalability, and security of data integration and streaming processes.
required skills:
· strong expertise in informatica powercenter (etl, workflow development, troubleshooting).
· proficiency in java for debugging and supporting backend applications.
· hands-on experience with apache kafka (topic creation, performance tuning, monitoring).
· good knowledge of sql and database optimization (oracle, sql server, etc.).
· familiarity with linux/unix commands and scripting (shell, python, etc.).
· experience with monitoring tools like prometheus, grafana, or splunk.
· strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in production support.
