we are looking for a highly skilled and visionary lean transformation leader to join our team. This role is ideal for a lean thinker with deep expertise in lean methodologies and a passion for driving operational excellence. You will play a pivotal role in transforming our site into a lean enterprise, coaching and influencing employees at all levels, and ensuring alignment with gkn automotive's lean roadmap. Your work will focus on developing scalable, automated, and reliable systems that enhance quality and reduce errors. responsibilities
- leading lean initiatives and coaching site teams to embed lean principles across operations
- conducting root cause analysis and designing procedures to reduce production errors
- developing and improving manufacturing methods and systems with a focus on automation and scalability
- driving continuous improvement through innovation, procedural enhancements, and change management
- managing and reporting on projects, including drafting reviews and presenting recommendations
- building strong internal and external networks to support knowledge sharing and collaboration
- staying current with industry best practices, technologies, and regulations through ongoing learning
qualifications
- bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field
- minimum of 5 years of experience in lean manufacturing
- advanced english proficiency
- proven ability to lead projects and drive continuous improvement
required skills
- green belt certification or lean expert accreditation
- experience leading kaizen events and cost-saving initiatives (cims)
- strong background in machining or manufacturing operations
- excellent communication and people management skills
