As a sr. Procurement project management supervisor, you will have a strong understanding of project management activities, including the end to end project management process in a fast paced, complex business environment.
you will work within a team of collaborative colleagues, working on high-impact projects that move the business forward.
you will help your team meet deadlines, track, monitor and summarize progress of projects, and prepare reports for senior leadership regarding the status and project of the project.
*key responsibilities*:
- leading a team of sourcing professionals to ensure business results, as well as developing team members through coaching and mentorship.
- drive and execute annual and strategic plan with supporting strategies.
- ensure relationship development and management with each gbe leaders.
- align with site sales, marketing, technology, business, operations, finance and quality and other honeywell businesses.
- develop, drive, and execute sourcing cost reduction projects in a cross functional environment, work with engineering,
- quality, sourcing, manufacturing, om to ensure project execution (meet deadlines) and implementation.
- develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers.
- conduct regular executive communication updates on the status of the transformation, escalations, and support required.
- initiatives of projects include supplier transfer to high growth region, supply base optimization, supply risk mitigation, value engineering changes, among others.
- this position is co responsible to build a solid pipeline of projects through new ideas development and strong cooperation with procurement organization.
- development of solid business cases and execution of projects, productivity tracking until project is implemented.
- perform risk management to identify and minimize issues in project execution.
- establish relationship with stakeholders on the gbe, escalate project barriers and delays.
- lead productivity workshops to increase pipeline of projects to close gap.
*you must have*:
- minimum 8+ strategic sourcing/supply chain areas/commodity sourcing
- experience working in global team environment
- project management and/or contract management experience
- good decision-making; uses analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment in making sound decisions
- global sourcing experience
- problem solving skill set
- english proficient
