The master scheduler is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials and/or finished products through planning, scheduling, and control of demand, inventories, and production capacity, while meeting customer service objectives, operational efficiency, and resource optimization.about the rolethe master scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the paster production schedule to ensure the efficient use of resources, timely fulfillment of customer orders, and alignment with business objectives.responsibilitiesdevelop medium- and short-term production and/or materials plans.ensure on-time and accurate availability of raw materials, components, and finished goods.manage planning parameters in the erp/mrp system (lead times, minimum lot sizes, safety stock, etc.).coordinate with procurement, production, logistics, quality, and sales to align requirements and capacities.analyze deviations in planning (delays, forecast changes, production line downtime) and propose corrective actions.monitor and track planning, service, and inventory kpis.actively participate in s&op (sales & operations planning) and continuous improvement projects.provide guidance and support to junior or less-experienced plannersqualificationsminimum 3-5 years of working experience with mrp systems.planning experience in a manufacturing environment.required skillsstrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.proficiency in erp/mrp systems.
