medical scientific liaison (msl)

location: cdmx, mexico.

responsibilities

• deliver updated scientific information to healthcare professionals, including medical and technical aspects such as biology, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacology, etc.
• conduct field work by visiting key physicians locally and across the country.
• provide essential information through personal contact and remain current with the latest medical/scientific developments in the therapeutic area.
• develop and maintain professional relationships with kols and academic centers to ensure access to current information.
• prepare and develop scientific materials for discussion with hcps with approval from the medical manager.
• coordinate medical events and participate in medical educational programs, disseminating product and disease information, and identifying competitive advantages or new uses.
• partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for developing treatment algorithms and guidelines, and to present research opportunities.
• assist in implementing local protocol development and administering proposals.
• support ongoing training for field sales force and other personnel on product uses and external data.
• serve as a local medical scientific resource for product information communication.
• attend scientific meetings, review journals, and collaborate with category leads and medical managers to share medical concepts and product usage.
• act in compliance with pfizer policies, including fcpa, gpihp, and pigo.
• provide reports and metrics aligned with medical objectives, and offer administrative support in isrs as required.

qualifications and experience

education: medical degree, preferably with a specialty in internal medicine and/or research or molecular biology training.

experience: md or specialized physician, and/or at least 1 year in the pharmaceutical industry (r&d or medical affairs) with continuous interaction and scientific exchange with medical societies.
