Can perform admission or periodic medical exams.

- regulation (setting standards on working conditions)
- inspection (ensure compliance with established regulations such as the health and safety manual)
- education (health promotion by publishing information on assorted topics, carrying out health campaigns and promotion awareness of general health topics)
- medical care for general illnesses and work accidents when required.
- performing medical exams (entry, special and laboratory medical examinations for personnel in critical areas)
- support in inspection tours to identify unsafe acts and conditions and registering findings.
- follow up and supervision of compliance with the corrective measures to be followed in the causes of occupational accidents to avoid their repetition.
- compliance with procedures in relation to occupational hazards
- epidemiologic analysis (register detected pathologies)
- carry out statistics on occupational risk and disability, such as graphs of accidents, days lost due to disability and severity.
- perform work accident analysis in relation to statistic and trends.
- supervision or preparation of the annual declaration of occupational risks
- worker health surveillance (in relation to occupational hazards and general illnesses, a timely detection of diseases)
- linkage with other institutions by establishing health programs: dental service, optics, addiction prevention, vaccination, etc.
- actively participate in continuous improvement activities (kaizen, lean events, etc.).
*qualifications*
- bachelor’s degree in medicine - professional degree
- 3+ years of experience in general and occupational health and medicine
- basic knowledge of industrial safety and hygiene regulations (noms)
- knowledge in legal compliance in occupational health matters
- knowledge in ergonomics
- knowledge of microsoft office tools
- knowledge of imss procedurals (medical service)
- knowledge in tress system (desired)
