Fp alpha, an ai-driven wealthtech solution, is looking for a software developer with strong expertise in python, a solid grasp of data structures, and knowledge of javascript and git.
the ideal candidate will also have experience with software architecture patterns and a keen interest in or hands-on experience in large language models (llms).key responsibilities:
design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using python and javascript.
collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in software architecture.
work with git for version control, ensuring clean and maintainable code.
optimize and improve system performance, focusing on data structures and algorithms.
contribute to designing and implementing apis and backend services.
research and integrate llms (large language models) for various applications, such as automation, nlp tasks, rag embeddings and ai-driven solutions.
participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
understanding of statistical evaluation (roc, f1 precision, recall, etc.
)required qualifications:
proficiency in python, with hands-on experience in backend development.
strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
experience with git for source control and collaboration.
basic to intermediate knowledge of javascript (react, node.js, or other frameworks is a plus).
familiarity with software architecture patterns such as mvc, microservices, or event-driven architectures.
ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.preferred qualifications:
experience working with large language models (llms) such as openai's gpt, llama, or similar.
knowledge of databases (sql & nosql).
familiarity with ci/cd pipelines and devops practices.
