key responsibilities:
* partner with sales leadership to develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and long-term strategic plans, to establish and track kpis and performance metrics to drive accountability and growth.
* monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
* drive pricing and margin analysis to support commercial decisions and improve profitability.
* develop dashboards and kpis to support performance tracking and data-driven decision making.
* lead monthly sales financial reviews, including variance analysis and commentary.
* support the design and execution of incentive plans and commission schemes in alignment with business goals.
* ensure revenue recognition complies with accounting standards and internal policies.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, operations) to support go-to-market strategies.
* lead or contribute to special projects such as product launches, territory realignments, or m&a evaluations.
* lead sales onboarding and training initiatives to ensure consistent adoption of best practices and tools.
* own and manage core sales processes, including forecasting, pipeline analysis, and territory planning.
* administer and optimize crm systems (e.g., salesforce), ensuring data integrity, process alignment, and user adoption.
* develop and implement scalable processes and tools to improve productivity across the sales team.
* provide actionable insights through regular reporting and analysis of sales trends, performance, and customer behavior.
* manage sales incentive programs and support compensation planning and analysis.
* drive continuous improvement in sales processes and identify automation opportunities.
qualifications:
* bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; cpa, cma, or mba is a plus.
* 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis (fp&a), preferably in a sales-focused or commercial finance role.
* strong understanding of sales operations, revenue drivers, and financial modeling.
* advanced proficiency in excel; experience with erp systems (e.g., sap, oracle) and bi tools (e.g., power bi, tableau) preferred.
* deep familiarity with crm systems (e.g., salesforce) and proficiency in analytics/reporting tools (e.g., excel, tableau, power bi).
* excellent project management and organizational skills.
* excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* experience in saas, technology, or a fast-paced sales environment is a strong advantage.
