*we are looking for a supplier quality manager to be part of our team.*
*the division/region supplier quality manager is in charge of suppliers’ assessment and manages supplier progress plan at commodity level for his/her own division/region.*
- define & implement the purchasing supplier & development strategy through quality and logistic indicators in collaboration with purchasing team.
- evaluate the supplier performance of the division (q,c,d)
- deploy supplier development (supplier excellence system) with key suppliers.
- ensure that appropriate/robust supplier quality resources (people and methods) are allocated to supplier management in panel program & series (including transfers) priorities
- manage the supplier quality development (sqd) experts, and support the plant supplier quality assurance (sqa) through the escalation process.
- ensure that faurecia is supplied by only approved suppliers and has a veto right during sourcing committee process for the selection of suppliers in program, series, in particular for transfers (i.e relocation in low cost countries )
- ensure that any suppliers used in programs are issued from quality control plan (advanced product quality planning)
- ensure that only approved ppap are provided to faurecia (incl. Process/product changes, suppliers changes, transfers, supplier development or va/ve actions, )
- have the authority to stop delivery of any supplied parts in case of serious non conformity (particularly safety & regulation concerns)
- ensure that the continuous improvement of key suppliers includes both quality and productivity principles (fes, problem solving methodology, quality basics)
*this job might be four you if you fit the following requirements*:
- minimum 5 years as a quality manager, supplier quality (*regional*) in an automotive company or metal mechanical industry.
- experience in a management role in a matrix organization.
- advanced english communication skills.
- * strong knowledge in trim covers, stamping processes, presses, die, apqp, ppap, root cause analysis, iso ts, redex, gd&t. New suppliers transfer or relocation. Safety and regulation characteristics.*:
- leadership, political savvy, with excellent communication skills and collaborative with others.
