*responsibilities*:
- oversees the monthly loss forecasting aspects of the group.
- liaises with the finance, collections & risk policy team with respect to loss forecasting.
- oversees analysis of forecasting in citi corp with respect to forbearance performance and reporting, and recoveries performance and reporting.
- analyzes fraud portfolio performance at a granular level.
- develops detailed diagnostics on fraud behavior, shifts in that behavior, assess its impact on portfolio performance, and support the forecasting process.
- assists in the production all presentations to the citigroup cfo, citi cards ceo, citi cards risk head, global consumer credit risk officer & regulators, as well as various ad hoc requests.
*qualifications*:
- 5-8 years previous experience in forecasting / fraud / risk management
- advanced quantitative and analytic skills required.
- proficient in excel, microsoft word, powerpoint.
- excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
*education*:
- bachelor’s/university degree or equivalent experience

- a few of the key responsibilities are: _
- _review and challenge transactions and annual reviews of trade and cash products._
- _ provide analytical support for various initiatives including but not limited to country portfolio reviews _
- _provide product program approvals; work with product managers to align product programs and local requirements_
- _ support risk projects and presentations for event driven analysis and other senior management requirements_
- _ work with lf risk smes to perform deep dive concentration reviews _
- _engage with product teams and other stakeholders to review various product or process initiatives/ improvements _
- _provide credible challenge in new activity approvals_
- _ represent product risk in governance meetings, as required _
- _facilitate the development of risk culture within the business _
- _participate in the development and delivery of product risk training for banking and risk organizations_
- key qualifications:_
- _ credit officer designation required _
- _at least 6 years of credit or risk related positions within or outside of citi_
- _ superior risk assessment skills, including problem recognition, structuring of solutions to credit related issues; strong technical skills _
- _knowledge of trade products preferred _
- _demonstrated integrity, ability to exercise sound, timely and independent judgment, and ability to balance risk and reward_
- _ strong leadership skills and ability to execute effectively and deliver results _
- _excellent verbal and written communication skills _
- _general knowledge of legal documentation, macro-economics, cross border risks, market risks, operational risks _
- _self-motivated and able to work independently to effectively produce high quality results _
- _education level: bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred_
