About the role
as a senior full stack engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping a cloud-based platform that is redefining how life insurance products are built, delivered, and experienced digitally. You’ll influence core product evolution, balancing front-end excellence with scalable backend design in a remote, agile environment. This role offers high ownership, close collaboration with product leadership, and the chance to grow within a mission-driven, fast-evolving engineering team using modern full stack practices.
What you will do
work on the development of features that optimize main products and platform;
build production quality software that will be part of core products and platform;
work in an agile team closely collaborating with other software engineers and a product manager;
work in a remote environment.
Must haves
bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field;
6+ years of experience writing production-quality code, ideally on core software product development (not only professional services or implementation projects);
solid experience with back end frameworks (nodejs, golang, .net or java);
familiarity with typescript;
experience working with relational databases such as mysql, oracle or postgres;
experience working with 3rd party software integrations (rest apis, xml, json);
experience with cloud services, caching, containers, app servers (aws, docker, redis, kubernetes etc.);
experience with test driven development;
flexibility to work with a strong overlap with pacific time zone hours;
nice to haves
familiarity with orchestration platforms.
