the role involves:
* working directly on the modification or acquisition of new tools and materials to ensure operational continuity.
* ensuring application of procurement procedures, techniques, and practices for tool design.
* managing configuration changes of new tooling or services.
* developing processes and procedures.
* influencing work teams positively, serving as a role model in adhering to organizational standards and values.
* using technical documentation to propose process improvements for tool design and functionality.
* making and managing quotations with suppliers for spare parts and specialized services.
* identifying critical spare parts.
* assisting in maintaining adherence to budgets for assigned cost centers.
skills, knowledge & experience needed to succeed:
* high-level knowledge in design and tools management.
* customer focus, project experience, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
* knowledge of managing budgets.
* ability to seek cost reduction opportunities.
* effective interaction with teams and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve sourcing issues on complex, automated equipment.
* background in electrical, electronic, mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or related fields.
* intermediate written and spoken technical english, with ability to communicate with foreign suppliers and production managers.
* knowledge of cad software is desirable.
