*your role*:
- handling customer requirements information.
- harmonize customer needs against aptiv interests.
- customer shipments schedule & follow based on stablished routing instructions.
- aptiv expedite freight coordination; on best time & cost.
- critical part numbers follow.
- effective care and communication with customer.
- shipping discrepancies on material follow up.
- validate and adjustment on customer requirements variation (increases & decreases)
- on time communication to manufacturing plants.
*your background*:
- education: bachelor's degree in industrial, business administration, logistics, international commerce.
- 2+ years' experience in the automotive industry and logistics.
- *90% english (written and verbal)*:
- basic knowledge in sap, microsoft office (preferably, intermediate to expert knowledge in microsoft excel).
*preferred qualifications*:
- problem-solving skills.
- ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
- ability to lead customer meetings, at all levels, independently.
- ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in english and spanish, both verbally and in writing.
- strong results-orientation and execution characteristics.
- ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions, and solve problems independently.
- ability to work under pressure.
- negotiation skills to be able to deal with end customers on a daily basis.
