- the maintenance technician is responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, installations and systems in the company.
his/her objective is to ensure that all systems and machinery operate efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- perform regular and scheduled inspections of equipment and facilities.
- identify and correct mechanical, electrical or plumbing faults or problems.
- replace defective parts and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimum equipment performance.
- diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems effectively.
- perform emergency and urgent repairs as needed to minimize impact on operations.
- work closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance and resolve problems.
- provide technical advice and support to other staff members as needed.
