what you will do
we are looking for a demand planner responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products for the region. The demand planner creates and maintains sales forecast models, incorporates business intelligence and forecast information from the local sales organization, conducts monthly demand regional consensus meetings, manages data integrity processes, develops and reviews performance metrics, coordinates the analysis of monthly demand, resolves gaps between consensus and statistical forecasts, and produces and reviews monthly reports.
how you will do it
1. develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for various time horizons.
2. review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
3. coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile variances and refine the forecast model.
4. interact with sales, marketing, and other demand planners to understand demand drivers.
5. maintain comprehensive demand plans aligned with internal customer demands.
6. utilize and maintain demand planning software as the primary forecasting tool.
7. coordinate customer action plans with supply planning.
8. improve demand planning processes and tools for better accuracy and efficiency.
9. support sourcing metrics and scorecards, monitor kpis, and drive actions.
10. provide reports and analysis on demand planning performance and market trends.
11. participate in s&op meetings with demand information and analysis.
12. drive operational excellence by translating business strategies into effective execution, and support process standardization across the region.
13. stay updated on corporate policies and initiatives, acting as sme for the area.
14. perform related duties as necessary.
what we are looking for
* bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or relevant fields, with experience in demand planning/scm.
* +3 years of experience in demand planning or s&op roles, with proficiency in statistics and forecasting methods.
* understanding of inventory management practices.
* knowledge of demand planning software (e.g., logility) is preferred.
* strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
* excellent interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.
* proficiency in windows and microsoft office; knowledge of power bi is a plus.
* fluent professional english is required.
