this role will play a key part in managing and developing strategic relationships with msbs, leading the development and positioning of digital financial products, and coordinating cross-functional strategies with core areas of the business.
duties and responsibilities:
* business development:
o manage and strengthen partnerships with leading msbs across the latam corridor.
o negotiate commercial agreements, revenue share structures, and joint growth strategies.
o demonstrated expertise in the end-to-end journey of cross-border transactions, including agents, senders, aggregators, and msbs.
o monitor market trends and regulatory developments that impact remittance flows.
* digital products:
o proven experience in the launch, positioning, and scaling of solutions such as co-branded cards, wallets, and other financial products.
o identify innovation opportunities in financial products tailored to remittance senders and beneficiaries.
* commercial execution:
o design, implement, and track 360° commercial plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product, operations, legal, and compliance.
o define and monitor commercial kpis, ensuring performance through executive-level reporting.
competencies and requirements:
* cross-functional leadership and the ability to align multiple teams.
* strong negotiation skills, influence, and strategic thinking.
* highly driven, self-motivated, resilient, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* bachelor's degree.
* 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in: msbs, aggregators, fintech's, or regulated financial institutions.
* proven track record in managing strategic relationships within the remittance or fintech industries.
