within this role, you will be responsible for developing the market for rijk zwaan crops by identifying new business opportunities. You will meet with customers to provide professional agronomic advice, recommend suitable varieties for different market segments, and introduce new varieties to growers across the central states of mexico through trials, events, and regular field visits.
in this role, you will also be responsible for preparing sales forecasts based on customer requirements and long‑term planning for the region. A thorough knowledge of the variety portfolio is essential. Additionally, you will work closely with sales managers, crop specialists, trial specialists, and the logistics team to ensure effective market development and customer support.

* agronomy engineer or related field.
* minimum of 3 years of experience in horticulture, crops, products, and market knowledge.
* preferably experience in field development of vegetable varieties and sales.
* proactive attitude.

* team player with the ability to interact in an international environment.
* strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to build long‑lasting relationships with customers.
* english communication skills (oral and written).
* willingness to travel.
