This role also oversees the management and content strategy for the questionpro experience journal (our blog focused on thought leadership), combining elements of digital pr, and reputation management to enhance the company’s online presence, credibility, and lead generation efforts.key responsibilitiesmedia & backlink outreachusing questionpro’s consumer market research studies, craft and send personalized pitches to secure media placements, guest posts, interviews, and product mentions across digital, print, and broadcast channels.pitch questionpro thought leaders to various podcasts and conferences using most recent studies and articles to increase brand visibility and the content itself.develop and maintain comprehensive media lists and calendars of key events and opportunities.craft responses for queries from haro, featured.com, and more.monitor and actively participate in forums like reddit and quora to ensure brand presence in topics relevant to marketing and/or seo project goals.research and qualify high-authority websites for backlink opportunities using tools like ahrefs, semrush, or moz.collaborate with marketing managers to develop link-worthy assets (e.g., infographics, case studies, guest articles).work with the head of seo to report on link acquisition progress and its impact on seo performance.as the new world of software as a service evolves, review listing sites are becoming increasingly important for reputation and credibility. Optimize and regularly update company profiles on key review platforms, ensuring accurate, compelling descriptions and up-to-date visuals.develop and implement strategies to generate customer reviews, including outreach campaigns and follow-ups.respond promptly and professionally to both positive and negative reviews to enhance brand reputation and address concerns.monitor competitor profiles and reviews to inform positioning and identify opportunities for differentiation.the questionpro experience journal oversee the editorial calendar, content planning, and publishing process for the questionpro experience journal.use the experience journal as a way to promote questionpro’s values of advancing research modalities and expanding the future of market research. Bring in external thought leaders with unique perspectives and point of views.collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to source and develop high-quality, relevant content.ensure content aligns with brand messaging, seo best practices, and current industry trends.monitor engagement metrics and reader feedback to refine content strategy and maximize impact.qualificationsbachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field, or equivalent experience.proven experience in media outreach, link building, digital pr, or reputation management—ideally in a b2b or saas environment.strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft persuasive outreach emails and pitches.proficiency with seo and outreach tools (e.g., ahrefs, semrush, moz, buzzstream, pitchbox).experience managing business profiles on review platforms like google my business, capterra, g2, and trustradius.experience managing editorial calendars and content for company blogs or journals.analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and refine strategies based on insights.highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.success metricsnumber and quality of media placements and backlinks secured per quarter.growth in positive reviews and ratings on key review platforms.engagement and reach of the questionpro experience journal.one hit it out of the park, crazy idea that might not even work per quarterwhile these activities may appear like silo’d activities, the ideal candidate will be able to see how they hinge and evolve with one another.
