Upstay is looking for a digital marketing specialist to join our team get your resume ready

upstay operates and optimizes short-term rentals to create roi for homeowners and unforgettable vacation homes for guests. Based in orlando, florida, upstay offers short-term rentals across the united states, eastern canada, and south america. Our team of 160+ employees manages 400+ properties on behalf of owners. We treat every property in our portfolio as an investment with a focus on maximising profit without sacrificing best-in-class hospitality for our guests.

Site selection, acquisition, development, design, construction, furniture manufacturing, laundry and property management are all looked after by our in-house teams which translates to higher standards in our properties, service, and customer expectations.

what you'll do

the digital marketing specialist at upstay is a key driver of our brand's online growth and direct booking success. As a creative strategist and data-minded marketer, this role is responsible for elevating upstay's digital presence across all channels—building visibility, driving conversion, and ensuring brand consistency throughout our diverse property portfolio.

* manage and update property and brand websites to ensure content accuracy, seo optimization, and conversion-focused design.
* plan, schedule, and execute social media content across multiple platforms and property brands, maintaining a consistent voice and aesthetic.
* develop and deploy email marketing campaigns (newsletters, promotions, guest journeys) with audience segmentation and a/b testing.
* oversee seo/sem strategies, including keyword research, paid ad management (google ads, meta, etc.), and performance optimization.
* manage digital ad spend across channels to maximize roi and drive qualified traffic and direct bookings.
* track and analyze performance data using tools such as google analytics, ga4, and meta business suite to identify trends and opportunities.
* collaborate with internal teams (design, sales, operations) to align marketing initiatives with property goals and occupancy targets.
* maintain brand standards and digital presence across a diverse portfolio of property types and markets.
* research emerging marketing tools, trends, and competitor strategies to recommend new growth opportunities.

what you'll bring

* 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally in hospitality, travel, or property management.
* strong understanding of seo, sem, google ads, meta ads, and web analytics.
* experience with email marketing platforms (ex, mailchimp, hubspot, or constant contact).
* proficiency in social media management and scheduling tools (ex. Later, hootsuite, or sprout social).
* working knowledge of website cms (wordpress, wix, or similar).
* data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
* excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
* a creative thinker who can adapt tone and strategy across varying brands and audiences.

soft skills

* demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication in english, enabling effective communication with team members.
* self-motivated and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely progress on client-related tasks and project management.
* adaptability and responsiveness to changing conditions, priorities, technologies, and requirements.
* professional demeanor and strong time management skills, allowing for effective delegation, guidance, and collaboration with other departments.
* this role typically requires 40 hours weekly availability. The candidate needs to demonstrate a resilient and get-it-done attitude and able to work under high pressure.
* proficiency in creative problem-solving and the ability to address client and organizational challenges using innovative, indirect approaches.
