Leading multinational company in its field seeks quality manager.-what we need:* design, implement and manage the quality strategy for the company to ensure the quality of the products and process complying with the policies, requirements and regulations established by the company and the countries in which it operates.* this position ensures the effective implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's quality management system (qms) in all manufacturing processes with the achievement of sqf/ fssc 22000 certification.main obligations and responsibilities:- guarantee compliance with the quality policy to provide safe products within specifications, focusing on the needs and compliance with the standards of our clients, the company, and regulatory authorities. - the quality manager lead the quality strategy defined, haccp and sqf process of the plant, to ensure that the safety food and quality requirements of the process and the product are met through monitoring of the gmp's, the haccp plan, the quality plan and the prerequisite - keep company staff and senior management informed about quality issues or trends, in addition to ensuring the communication of relevant information to functional units, external suppliers and contractors; all with the purpose of supporting the correct functioning of the company in terms of quality. - promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and proactive risk management. - approve and release finished products based on analytical results, sensory evaluation, and conformity with specifications and labeling requirements for each export market. - drive supplier quality management through qualification, audits, and continuous performance monitoring. - manage customer and regulatory audits, ensuring readiness, documentation accuracy, and closure of findings within established deadlines. - lead the development of quality indicators (kpis), monthly reports, and continuous improvement plans focused on product safety, complaint reduction, and process efficiency. - collaborate cross-functionally with r&d, operations, and supply chain to ensure new product introductions and process changes meet quality and food safety requirements. - champion training and capability building on quality culture, gmp, and food safety for plant and technical personnel.work environment:- be the example of compliance with the established values and procedures. - ability to work as a team and maintain a healthy work environment. - ability to learn on the fly and make decisions in uncertain environments. - discipline to manage and maintain documentation control systems. - ease of interacting and exercising leadership and positive influence with different areas, internal and external clients, suppliers and regulatory entities. - continuous updating to understand new trends in terms of innovations, regulation, raw materials, packaging materials and technology. - continuously work on the training required by operational functions to cover the needs derived from changes in the business and the market. - involves interaction with internal and external auditors, government authorities, and international customers. - may require occasional travel to suppliers, co-manufacturers, and other facilities within or outside the country.core competencies.- experience in quality as senior leader with more than 10 years of experience in foods industry. - leadership with strong abilities of negotiation either internal and external in manufacturing environments. - drive for results. - fluent in english - in-depth knowledge of food safety management systems (haccp, fssc 22000, iso 9001, gmp). - experience in regulatory compliance for multiple markets (e.g., mexico, u.s., eu, latam) - hands-on approach to solving quality issues and leading investigations (root cause, capa) - high level of integrity, discipline, and attention to detail - bilingual (english–spanish) with technical communication proficiencyeducation & work experience.- b.s. in food science, chemical or food engineer. - 10–15 years of progressive experience in quality assurance and food safety roles within the food, beverage, or nutraceutical industries. - minimum 5 years in a managerial or senior supervisory capacity leading multidisciplinary teams. - certifications in fssc 22000, haccp, internal auditing, or iso lead auditor highly desirable. - proven record of managing regulatory audits and implementing successful improvement programs.
