Job description:as a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless import and export operations in mexico, china, the us, and other countries.
this involves submitting accurate and timely importer security filings (isfs) to u.s. Customs.you will coordinate internal and external audits related to international trade and customs compliance, creating and managing import and export documentation both within and outside the sap system.
additionally, you will review and archive all customs documentation in accordance with fiscal and legal requirements in the region.key responsibilities include managing and updating certificates of origin under trade agreements such as usmca, mercosur, and cafta-dr, as well as following up on international shipments to ensure on-time deliveries to regional warehouses.other duties involve supporting the resolution of transportation issues and freight claims, overseeing regional transportation and logistics providers, evaluating their performance and contractual compliance.furthermore, you will review customer and carrier portals, process transportation and customs broker invoices, generate ground transportation reports, and special operations metrics for regional warehouses.actively participating in conferences, training sessions, and meetings on logistics regulations and best practices is also essential.
