*job description*:
supervise and coordinate the resources of the maintenance department, through strategies based on the company´s guidelines and policies, with the purpose of achieving the objectives defined by the plant.
supervision of improvements projects, continuous improvement of the operations maintenance area, teamwork with all company areas.
*responsibilities*
- prioritize maintenance activities according to production requirements, ensuring the least equipment downtime.
- personnel management
- leads, develops, and implements highly complex repairs, preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
- ensures that periodic and preventive maintenance is appropriately scheduled and performed.
- ensure you provide spare parts for critical equipment.
- contact with different suppliers related to the machine operation.
- guarantee the optimal functioning of the operations maintenance area.
- inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions
- coordinates work of outside contractors.
directs and leads the work of lower-level employees through assignment of work, coordination of, effort, providing technical guidance and review of assignment progress.
qualifications:
requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, electromechanical career or related.
requires at least 5 years related position.
requires at least 2 years in hvac industry.
knowledge of progressive presses.
knowledge in servo drives & servomotors.
knowledge of plc software programming (ab, siemens) detail oriented and ability to problem solve effectively.
leadership skills required to coordinate and work with all company areas.
interpretation of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
