about the role
we're looking for a motion designer with strong video editing skills to join our creative team. This is a mid-level position ideal for someone who can combine motion graphics expertise (70%) with short-form video editing skills (30%) to produce high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms like tiktok, instagram, youtube, and beyond. The right candidate is not only technically skilled but also understands narrative structures in social media, current video trends, and how to craft content that captures attention in seconds.
responsibilities
* create engaging motion graphics and animations tailored for social media formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
* edit short-form videos with fast, effective workflows.
* apply storytelling structures to maximize retention and impact in short-form content.
* stay up to date with video trends, animation styles, and content formats on tiktok, instagram reels, youtube shorts, and other platforms.
* use ai-powered tools and workflows to enhance motion design and improve efficiency.
* collaborate with creative directors, managing editors, and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with brand and campaign goals.
* deliver high-quality assets under tight deadlines with attention to detail.
requirements
* degree or formal studies in graphic design (or equivalent proven background).
* 3+ years of experience in motion graphics and video editing.
* advanced english level (b2, c1, or c2) in writing, listening, and speaking.
* advanced skills in adobe after effects, premiere pro (or equivalent tools).
* strong graphic design fundamentals (composition, typography, color theory, layout).
* proven experience creating motion content for social media.
* familiarity with ai tools for design and motion graphics.
* understanding of storytelling and editing techniques specific to short-form video.
* ability to work quickly and independently while maintaining creative quality.
* strong portfolio showcasing both motion graphics and short-form video editing.
nice-to-have
* experience with audio editing, sound design, or music synchronization.
* familiarity with collaboration tools, slack, clickup, notion, etc.).
* knowledge of branding and marketing principles.
