Procurement business intelligence analyst
job summary:
we are seeking a highly skilled procurement business intelligence analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing data-driven analysis, developing interactive dashboards, and providing user-friendly reporting systems.
key responsibilities:
* perform data analysis to capture value and enablement processes through strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management.
* work with the procurement team to gather, analyze, and summarize data to evaluate strategic supplier performance using specific metrics and scorecards.
* develop interactive dashboards using tableau or power bi and produce user-friendly reporting systems and dashboards.
* support data visualization by troubleshooting queries, addressing user questions, and maintaining data integrity.
* design and build business-critical reports, including scorecards and compliance reports.
* collaborate with end users to understand their needs and deliver final reports.
* support annual activities and rfps for procurement categories by performing data extraction, cleansing, and preparation.
* train stakeholders on dashboard usage and perform other duties assigned by the manager.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in a related field such as engineering, computer science, data science, or similar.
* 1 year of relevant experience in business intelligence, bi data engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* medium to advanced sql skills for acquiring and transforming data.
* proficiency in drawing insights from data and communicating information to stakeholders and senior management.
* experience configuring and using tableau or power bi applications to visualize and demonstrate proposed user interface solutions.
* knowledge of etl/elt design/development using alteryx or ssis.
* understanding of high-level programming languages, with python preferred.
* ability to analyze and extract relevant information from large, complicated data sets.
* demonstrate ability to identify and implement change, drive results, and provide value-added analysis.
* advanced english is required due to the global nature of the role.
