ensuring the customer has a high satisfaction when creating a design for them is critical across the oem head office and dealer networks.
this role is responsible for creating the mechanical and electrical design solution.

- produce high quality and details installation documentation.
- read and interpret customer wiring diagrams, create harness drawings.
- review customer 3d cad data, create sheet metal drawings.
- test fit hardware and software in vehicle and write test reports.
- record can traces of vehicles and review translation files.

- create and review bill of materials, ensuring bom's are submitted correctly to finance team for cost approval.customer satisfaction :

- 5-7 years of experience in a hands-on automotive environment, preferably within a telematics, truck oem, technology.
- having designed products/parts that have entered production, meeting all quality criteria.
- proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and schematics.
- strong communication skills in both spanish and english (written and spoken).
- ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple issues simultaneously, and work independently under pressure.qualifications and technical experience
- bachelor's degree in engineering - mechanical, mechatronics, electronics or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
formula sae experience is valued.
- engineering design - proficiency in cad, autodesk inventor or similar.
- exposure to quality processes and management such six sigma.
- experience using advanced product quality planning.
