as a pre‑sales demo engineer, you will sit at the intersection of full‑stack engineering and revenue, owning demo environments that directly influence deal outcomes. You will leverage expertise in typescript, react, node.js, and aws in an agile, entrepreneurial culture, bridging frontend and backend to drive business impact. A structured mentorship path will prepare you for a technical solution consultant role.
responsibilities
* maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot demo environments to keep them current and functional.
* act as the first line of defense for technical issues within demo environments.
* collaborate with technical teams to build proof of concepts and support complex deals.
* manage and populate realistic datasets for demo environments to support business use cases.
qualifications – must haves
* 3+ years of full‑stack development experience with a focus on backend.
* experience with typescript (node.js and react).
* experience consuming and debugging rest apis.
* understanding of deployment processes and ci/cd tools.
* familiarity with aws services such as cognito, s3, cloudwatch.
* experience with data seeding and environment management.
* strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts.
* ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* problem‑solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
* fluent english.
qualifications – nice to have
* knowledge of life insurance and annuity domain.
* experience with python scripting.
* experience with ci/cd troubleshooting.
