About the role
we are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a key account manager. As a key player in driving business growth and development, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our clients and identifying new opportunities for revenue expansion.
key responsibilities
* drive new business development with clients by efficiently managing growth projects and allocating resources appropriately
* manage annual sales budgets exceeding 10 million usd
* keep stakeholders informed about the status of interactions through visit reports
* prepare monthly sales forecast information to support proper production and financial planning
* manage appropriate credit lines to ensure operation and business growth with clients
requirements
to succeed in this role, you will need:
* a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, food engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacobiology, or a similar field
* 7+ years of experience in sales of chemical specialties for markets such as agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, coatings, or personal and home care in the mexican market
* intermediate-advanced conversational english (b2 level)
* experience with crm systems
* master's degree in business administration, industrial management, marketing, administrative sciences, or similar fields
