* conduct thorough safety audits and risk assessments for production personnel to ensure a secure working environment.
* develop and implement machine safety training programs, investigate incidents, and provide recommendations for improvement.
* monitor and analyze processes to enhance overall equipment effectiveness (oee), identify areas of improvement, and develop strategies to optimize performance.
* collaborate with production staff to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that drive results.
* ensure effective staffing on production lines based on production planning and scheduling requirements.
* maintain up-to-date skills matrices to ensure employees possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
requirements:
* education: a degree in engineering or a related field is required.
* experience: 3-5 years of experience as a production coordinator/supervisor in the automotive industry.
* knowledge: strong understanding of personnel relations, production planning, and skill matrices.
