**Purpose**
Ensure seamless daily execution of inbound and outbound logistics operations at one of our client, serving as the key point of coordination between plant logistics, Uber Freight, and transportation providers. The Inhouse Coordinator plays a vital role in planning, execution, real-time communication, and incident handling to maintain service levels and operational flow.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Review and analyze the weekly shipment forecast provided by our client Logistics Technicians.
- Create and manage travel numbers ("shells") in SAP, and share them with Uber Freight.
- Confirm programming and verify receipt of required shipping documentation (ME) for each load.
- Assign loading windows based on forecast data and confirmed appointments.
- Supervise truck arrivals, including ramp access, dock assignment, and checklist validation.
- Ensure all required shipping documents are complete and correctly delivered to drivers before departure.
- Support TRACK system processes for rack movements and entries.
- Continuously optimize dock and slot scheduling to improve throughput and minimize delays.
- Lead immediate response actions in case of unit rejections; coordinate truck replacements within 2-3 hours.
- Reschedule appointments and recover missed slots in coordination with the CSS team.
- Report critical incidents or service deviations in real time to Uber Freight and CSS.
- Maintain an updated rejection log to support monthly root cause analysis and process improvements.
- Ensure ongoing, clear communication with Uber Freight, CSS, our client logistics teams, and final receivers.
- Be physically present at both our clients plants as required, based on the weekly critical load plan.
- Conduct regular floor walks to monitor production progress relevant to outbound shipments.
- Track and oversee all scheduled shipments to ensure alignment with production and loading operations.
**Required Skills & Profile**
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Problem-solving under pressure and quick decision-making.
- Experience in logistics coordination or plant operations.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic operational conditions.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in supply chain or operations coordination (on-site roles preferred).
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) preferred but not mandatory.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- SAP and TRACK system familiarity preferred.
