Position purpose
the latam hr & payroll manager is responsible for leading and executing the human resources strategy across the latam region, ensuring alignment with business objectives while fostering a high-performance, compliant, and employee-centric culture.
this role oversees payroll, benefits, talent management, employee relations, compliance, and hr operations across mexico, chile, colombia, and peru
the position acts as a strategic business partner to regional leadership, driving organizational effectiveness, operational excellence, and people development initiatives that support sustainable business growth.
key responsibilities
lead and oversee payroll administration and employee benefits across latam countries (mexico, chile, colombia, and perú), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
partner closely with regional leadership teams to develop and implement hr strategies aligned with business priorities and organizational goals.
advise and coach managers on employee relations, performance management, organizational development, compensation planning, and talent acquisition.
drive the execution of core hr processes, including performance reviews, goal setting, succession planning, calibration sessions, and talent development initiatives.
manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for the latam region, ensuring a strong candidate and employee experience.
oversee hr policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with labor laws, corporate governance, and company standards.
support workforce planning and organizational design initiatives to improve productivity and employee engagement.
coordinate training and development programs to strengthen leadership capabilities and employee performance.
ensure compliance with regional labor regulations, corporate policies, ethics standards, and internal compliance requirements.
maintain strong relationships with external vendors, payroll providers, and internal stakeholders to optimize hr operations and service delivery.
qualifications & experience
* bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
* minimum of 6+ years of progressive hr experience in hr management or hr business partner roles within multinational organizations.
* solid experience managing payroll administration and hr operations across latam countries.
* strong knowledge of labor legislation and hr compliance practices within the region.
* proven experience partnering with senior leadership and managing complex employee relations matters.
* experience in corporate and fast-paced environments; real estate industry experience is considered a plus.
* strong business acumen, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
* demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
* advanced english proficiency (written and spoken).
* experience in corporate compliance and governance-related matters is highly desirable.
