Key responsibilities: purchase materials, supplies, and equipment according to company needs monitor inventory levels and create purchase orders forecast future inventory requirements negotiate with suppliers for best prices and terms track deliveries and resolve any supply chain issues maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers analyze market and supply trends ensure quality standards are met for purchased materials coordinate with production, warehouse, and other departments maintain accurate records of purchases and inventoryrequired qualifications:bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field 2-5 years of experience in purchasing or planning proficiency in erp systems and microsoft office strong analytical and mathematical skills excellent negotiation and communication skills detail-oriented and organized experience with inventory managementpreferred qualifications:professional certification (apics, cpsm, etc.) Experience with lean manufacturing principles knowledge of industry-specific regulations multiple language capabilities
